Ship Shine Marine Group Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”) provides mobile boat & yacht cleaning and detailing services in British Columbia, Canada. By requesting a quote, booking, or receiving services, the client (“you”) agrees to these Terms.
Effective date: January 4, 2026)
To confirm a booking and reserve your appointment time, an e-Transfer booking deposit is required:

$75 for vessels up to 30ft

$150 for vessels 31ft and above
This booking fee is non-refundable and will be credited toward the final invoice.
once the scope of work and total service price are confirmed, a deposit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total quote price is required prior to the commencement of any work.
The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service, before we leave the site.
Vessel length is measured by LOA (Length overall). The applicable booking fee tier is determined based on LOA.
Applicable taxes (GST) will be calculated on the total service amount and shown on the invoice/receipt.

More than 48 hours’ notice: you may reschedule without penalty (subject to availability). Your deposit will be applied to the new date.

Within 48 hours: the deposit is forfeited.

No-show / no access: if we arrive and cannot access the vessel/work area, the deposit is forfeited.
Taxes (GST)
Effective February 1, 2026, GST will be charged on taxable services. Prices shown on the website are before tax unless stated otherwise. Any applicable taxes will be shown separately on your invoice/receipt.
Accepted payment methods: Interac e-Transfer (preferred) or cash. The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the service, before we leave the site. If (and only if) the Company agrees in writing to payment after completion, any overdue amount may be subject to:

Interest of 2% per month (24% per annum), or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less, and
-
A minimum late fee of $25, where permitted by law.
Failure to pay as agreed constitutes non-payment, and the Company may pursue recovery through the Small Claims Court of British Columbia (including applicable fees/costs where permitted).
Work will not commence until the required 50% deposit has been received.
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the vessel and work area at the scheduled time, including any required marina approvals.You must disclose in advance any painted, wooden, wrapped, coated, or specialty surfaces, and any known fragile areas, prior repairs, or existing damage.
We take every reasonable precaution.
The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or normal wear, including issues caused by underlying conditions (e.g., peeling paint, weakened gelcoat, corroded fittings, brittle vinyl, failing coatings). Clients are encouraged to maintain appropriate vessel insurance.
Any concerns regarding services rendered must be reported in writing within 48 hours of job completion.
By booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
